Bill Chamblee and Annik Morgan Win Another Medical Malpractice Case in Dallas County

Bill Chamblee and Annik Morgan obtain a defense verdict on a medical malpractice case in Dallas County. Plaintiff claimed medical negligence and injuries as a result of the defendant doctor performing an IPPD (an inflatable penile prosthetic device) procedure.  The Plaintiff’s allegations were that the device had become infected post implantation. The claim dealt with alleged negligence in the post-operative period resulting in an infection becoming much worse and leading to ex-plantation of the device as well as issues with septic sequelae.

Plaintiff’s expert witness was out of California. Defendant had two standard of care experts – one of whom is known in this field as the “Godfather”  having authored landmark literature on IPP devices.

The jury returned a verdict for the Defendant in less than one hour.
