Chamblee Ryan PC is pleased to announce that Andy Cooper has been named partner.
“Andy has shown his leadership within the firm and outstanding results in the courtroom for our clients since joining us in 2014,” says the firm’s founder and managing partner William Chamblee. “We’re very pleased to recognize his hard work and dedication and are looking forward to a continued expansion of his role into the future.”
Mr. Cooper’s practice focuses on a variety of subject matters, including the defense of personal injury, insurance coverage, commercial, trucking, premises liability, environmental and toxic tort claims, indemnity, and trade practice cases in federal, Texas, and Louisiana courts. That work includes voluntary dismissals and verdicts of no liability, summary judgments and favorable settlements on his clients’ behalf.
Prior to joining Chamblee Ryan, he practiced at Brown Sims, P.C. and Thompson & Reilley, P.C.
“This is an unexpected honor from the other partners, but a responsibility I’m eager to accept,” says Mr. Cooper. “The firm has given me the latitude to conduct litigation and trials that take advantage of my skills and serve the best interest of our clients, and I hope this news provides encouragement and motivation to our young attorneys to do the same.”
Mr. Cooper earned his law degree from The University of Texas School of Law in 1999, where he served as Editor in Chief of the American Journal of Criminal Law. He received his bachelor’s at Pepperdine University in English and Humanities.
