Caleena Svatek obtained a unanimous jury verdict in Denton County, Texas in a veterinary malpractice suit. Plaintiff contended Defendants were negligent in performing an unnecessary dental procedure on her pet and sought to recover all veterinary expenses. Defendants showed informed consent and the validity of the procedure. After 10 minutes of deliberations, the jury returned an unanimous defense verdict holding the Defendants not liable for Plaintiff’s veterinary expenses.
