Chandra A. Carr

Sr. Associate

Overview

Chandra Carr is a Senior Associate at Chamblee Ryan whose practice focuses on civil litigation, including medical malpractice, healthcare liability, trucking and transportation, premises liability, personal injury, and other complex tort matters. Since becoming licensed in 2017, Chandra has represented individuals, businesses, insurers, and healthcare-related entities through all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial.

Prior to joining Chamblee Ryan, Chandra handled a broad range of litigation matters involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death claims, products liability, commercial disputes, intellectual property litigation, and landlord-tenant matters. She has served as lead counsel in bench trials, second-chaired a jury trial, successfully argued motions in state and federal courts, and managed complex, high-exposure litigation involving substantial damage claims.

Before entering the practice of law, Chandra served as a Regional Vice President for a national home healthcare provider. In that role, she oversaw healthcare operations, regulatory compliance, licensing surveys, governmental audits, risk management initiatives, and approximately 250 healthcare personnel. This experience provides her with a unique understanding of healthcare operations that she brings to the defense of healthcare providers and institutions.

Outside of her legal practice, Chandra enjoys painting, travel, and Krav Maga training. She is active in her local church and ministry and has a particular interest in healthcare, community service, and lifelong learning. Having lived in Texas, California, and Paris, France, she enjoys exploring different cultures and perspectives. In her spare time, you can find her hiking, exploring new places, or reading a good science fiction novel.
