Overview

Talmage Brown’s practice focuses on civil litigation.  He also has experience in appellate law, business law, insurance law, and bankruptcy.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Talmage worked for 15 years as an actuary, with executive and managerial experience at several Fortune 100 and international insurance companies, mostly serving in valuation, strategy, and M&A roles.  Talmage is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.

Talmage was born in Kentucky.  He earned a B.S. in mathematics from the University of Kentucky and was a David L. Boren scholar to the American University in Cairo, where he studied Arabic.  He earned a J.D. from the Texas A&M University School of Law, where he was a moot court brief writer and graduated magna cum laude.  He lives in Plano with his wife and three children.
