Mr. Johnson earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law in 2008. While at South Texas, Mr. Johnson served as Vice President of the Student Bar Association and as an editor of both the Texas Journal of Business Law and Currents: International Trade Law Journal. During law school, Mr. Johnson worked for a business law firm serving multiple individual and business clients in commercial litigation, probate and transactional matters. He also clerked for the 191st Judicial District Court of Dallas County.
Prior to working at Chamblee, Ryan, Kershaw & Anderson, P.C. , Mr. Johnson worked for several years as an associate at Shamoun & Norman, LLP, a Dallas litigation firm where Mr. Johnson worked on commercial disputes, premises liability matters, and complex commercial lending cases. Mr. Johnson had previously worked for a solo practitioner and also interned at the Collin County District Attorney's Office
Mr. Johnson has devoted 98% of his practice to litigation, additionally performing some transactional matters for clients taking potential litigation risks into account in order to reduce the number of lawsuits arising out of certain business relationships. Mr. Johnson has successfully obtained summary judgment in defense of a Texas homebuilder against a multi-million dollar wrongful death lawsuit and also in a $200,000 promissory note defense matter.
When he is not working feverishly to represent his clients' best interests, Mr. Johnson enjoys spending time with family, fishing and grilling. Mr. Johnson is also a blood donor and donates as often as current medical standards will permit.
